The front of house working tonight was so kind and warm. We spontaneously stopped for dinner and got pad Thai and the fresh roll. It was SO delicious!! Prices were great and the food even better. Will be coming here so much more often. (:

I found myself in Olympia with a grumbly tummy. I happened upon Saigon Rendezvous by chance, with a parking spot right in front, so I took that as a sign to satiate my hungry stomach and try a new Thai place. I’m so glad I did. The outside certainly presented itself with a “dive-y” feeling, but I kind of like dives. I find they may not look pretty, but they usually have great food. Upon entry, the place was clean, roomy and plenty of available seating. The bathroom was clean and I always think that is a good sign! The seats, however, were definitely NOT curvy, hippy, big butt girl friendly! In fact, they were down right uncomfortable. So, be forewarned!! IF you have curves, the seats are not friendly. I ended up sitting very forward in the metal chair, because my hips just could not tolerate the pain. Besides that one negative, the rest of the review is positive. Because, the food was delish! I settled on my usual shrimp fresh rolls with peanut sauce and a bowl of chicken pho. The rolls were stuffed with yummy, crispy lettuce, carrots, sprouts, shrimp, cilantro, accompanied by a delicious peanut dipping sauce. Both were really tasty. The pho broth was sublime. So flavorful. The chicken in the soup was plentiful and the bean sprouts, lime and Thai basil were absolutely fresh. This meal made my grumbly tummy happy. The portions were substantial and enough for me to take half home to enjoy for my dinner! Yes! This is definitely a “dive” I plan on coming back to when I find myself in Olympia. The waiter was sweet and attentive. He was also the chef. I am assuming he was the owner as well. Two thumbs up for Saigon Rendezvous!

Was headed here and accidentally walked into the Korean restaurant next door. It was really busy and so I decided to check the menu out just in case. I'm not a fan of kimchi especially in most of my menu choices so we left and made it as intended. I'm glad we did so as the food was very good. While it's pretty standard for this style to come with lots of vegetables, everything was seasoned well enough and there was enough meat to not feel like you were cheated out of your dish. My partner can't eat meat so it was even better for her. She was happy with the size and flavor as well. While it wasn't as busy as next door that only made our meal better and the customer flow did keep things moving enough. The service was good too, and we left having made the better choice for the night.

Perfect place for vegetarian takeout, they will hold fish sauce if you ask for that !Amazing curry , rich and flavorful and thick and full of vegetables, Thai tea is not too sweet which is awesome , other options are great too , but the curry is the best thing I’ve had here. If you want a fancy dining experience go somewhere worse if you want to be rude and demanding to wait staff these people at super nice and don’t deserve it .

Food is amazing. They have remodeled and new menu with many traditional Viet dishes. Xiu mai chao reminds me hometown so much. Meatball was soft and savory from the sauce. Pho broth was tasty. This pho is the best I have ever tried. And I always love their Thai tea. Waiter is nice and very welcoming everytime I come here.
